The Koehler Group firmly believes that nurturing young talent from within its own ranks is absolutely invaluable, and accordingly provides top-quality training. The family business is regularly honored as a “Best Place to Learn,” and has seen its apprentices be honored with the top apprentice award by the IHK Südlicher Oberrhein regional chamber of industry and commerce many times before. This November, it was Tino Casella’s turn after recently completing his paper technologist apprenticeship at Koehler Paper. Not surprising, as he got an extraordinary exam score of 85 out of 100 possible points. “Promoting the next generation, particularly through training, is extremely important to the Koehler Group. After all, we’re always happy to have our apprentices remain part of the Koehler family once they’re done with their apprenticeship, and find that providing them with opportunities for further development is vital,” says Koehler Group Corporate Director HR & Legal Department Elke Renz.

The company additionally had an internal ceremony in mid-December to extend further congratulations to Tino Casella. Koehler Group Head of Training and HR Development Simone Wölfle underscores: “We’re extremely proud of Tino’s impressive performance and would like to thank him for his absolute commitment to his training. Needless to say, we look forward to helping him pursue additional avenues for further development at the Koehler Group.” Since completing his apprenticeship, Tino Casella has been employed at Koehler Paper, where he works at paper machine 4 at the company’s Oberkirch site.
