Close Connection with the Koehler Group: Traditional Celebration in Honor of Long-Serving Employees

After a three-year break due to the pandemic, the Koehler Group has held a celebration for 40 employees who had completed 10, 25, or 40 years of loyal service to the company. The traditional celebration to honor those reaching career milestones and long-serving employees entering retirement was held in the Reithalle cultural center in Offenburg for the first time this year.

Koehler’s anniversary celebration is a tradition dating back decades, which shines a light on employees. An entertaining accompanying program, led by TV presenter Martin Seidler, included music from the Koehler Group’s company band, a world premiere of a juggling act performed by Moritz Rosner and Jan Daumin, plus several courses of culinary delights. Gregor Bühler, Mayor of Oberkirch, presented those celebrating 40 years with the company with a certificate from the State of Baden-Württemberg and passed on a message from the Minister President.

Kai Furler, CEO of the Koehler Group, emphasized the following in his welcome speech: “Staying with the same company for 40 years is far from a given in these fast-paced times.” Furler also mentioned the immense experience and knowledge that long-serving employees amass during this time. “This knowledge is an invaluable asset for our work and therefore for Koehler,” stressed Furler.

A total of 26 employees were honored in this year’s anniversary celebrations, of whom 18 had served for ten years, four for 25 years, and another four had completed 40 years of service. We also said goodbye to sixteen long-serving employees who are entering retirement and semi-retirement.
